What Sweeter Music! At the Tower Theatre!
MATINEE ADDED! The Central Oregon Mastersingers are delighted to welcome the community to celebrate the joy, warmth, and wonder of the season at their annual holiday concert, What Sweeter Music!, at the Tower Theatre. Due to high demand, the ensemble is pleased to announce the addition of a 2:00 pm matinee performance on the same day as the originally scheduled evening concert. Audiences will be treated to a rich and uplifting program featuring Antonio Vivaldi’s radiant Magnificat, performed with chamber orchestra and soloists. This beloved Baroque masterpiece shines with energy, devotion, and timeless beauty. The program also includes cherished carols and festive favorites, among them a moving new arrangement of “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” by Tim Kile, John Rutter’s tender “What Sweeter Music,” and a soulful, gospel-inspired setting of “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming.” In the spirit of holiday tradition, concertgoers will be invited to join in joyful sing-alongs of classic seasonal songs—a highlight that transforms the event into a true community celebration. Whether attending with family, friends, or simply seeking to be surrounded by glorious choral music, this concert promises an unforgettable experience of harmony and holiday cheer. Cost: $52–$62 Tickets available at Tower Theatre.
