With music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire, the musical follows the story of Shrek, a reclusive ogre who embarks on a quest to rescue Princess Fiona in order to reclaim the deed to his swamp. Along the way, he befriends a talkative Donkey and discovers that Fiona harbors a magical secret of her own. The musical blends humor, heart, and catchy songs to explore themes of self-acceptance, friendship, and love, celebrating the idea that beauty comes in many forms. One Weekend Only!
